Good luck. If I remember correctly the late B's used the V8 starter switch might might be easier to find. Also check with someone that rebuilds starters, they may have a core with switch parts.

I believe this is the part you ar looking for in case anyone has an unidentified switch laying around loose.

Not that uncommon. Ebay has several at last inspection.

Really not that difficult to come up with as far as cable and knob.Knob is reproduced and start searching on Ebay for a cable but an older NOS made in USA one. It does not matter on length just get one long enough like 36"-48" and cut / adjust later. One thing that is tough to find on a proper cable is length of part that goes through column drop, has to be long enough to allow nut to hold to drop,I think it is well over an inch in length or more most cables are short in this area.I found a USA NOS aviation choke cable that was made in the fifties that I used.Don't go cheap China lawn mower cable and make sure inner cable is at least 1/16" diameter or what ever will fit on starter switch which by the way are all over Ebay. A special firewall grommet is reproduced by Vintique it has a inique hole that angles cable down to starter.Having said all this if you do not want or have to go concours original for your build date go with later Model B floor starter switch that is easier in my opinion to use and doesn't need a cable adjustment or fear of knob pulling off cable or switch. I still may change to floor starter on mine especially since I figured out what that extra hole was on my new wood floorboard. I think it will take an entirely different starter, the V8 type starter maybe to change over for floor switch but never dug into it any further.
