I have a 1932 model B pickup that I'd like to try and sell but I would llike to tighten up the steering first, does anyone know a good way to get the steering sector out without taking the cab off to replace it, I have done all of the tightening that was suggested and that has not worked.

The boxes are the worst design possible. There was no adjustment on the drag link so the steering was centered with the steering box. There is the usuall adjustment to move the sector back and forth. There is another that centers the steering. It is the strange adjustment on the upper right side of the pitam shaft housing. Moving that cone shifts the whole housing side to side. It also changes the gear clearance. You adjust the cone to center the wheels and then move the pinion shaft side adjuster to set the clearance. You hope it is all on the mesh high spot.
