1932 Henry Ford Roadster
This car is an original 1932 Ford body and frame. It is the real deal not a replica . It was professionally built as a driving show car. The body was removed, primed and loosely bolted back on. I bought the car pretty much as you see it when the former owner decided to build a different car. I can only surmise the paint had some blems or chips. The deck lid, dash, firewall etc are still red. It has a 289 cobra motor, ceramic coated headers, lots of chrome including dropped axle and most suspension parts, disc brakes f & r, a C4 automatic with Lokar shifter. The rear is a chromed and polished Jag with the inboard disc brakes. New Coker Big and little radial WWs with Coker chrome wheels. ( will remove tires and wheels and discount if buyer doesn't want) The seat is excellent and includes the door panels. It is missing the rest. It is a solid no rust or patch panels body and floor. The frame is boxed and painted as nice as the rest. I have not heard it run but the car only has 85 miles since its build. I have a new gas tank for it and misc parts. My price is probably in the neighborhood of a fiberglass car. To me, there is no comparison. If a Picasso original painting was priced at a million dollars, how much is a newly made print worth? Both look great,no? I can't afford a Picasso but I would rather not buy a print. My car is the real deal Picasso!!! Because it needs paint, wire connections, shifter mounted and things like that ( you might want to change the color anyway) it is priced in line with a quality fiberglass car and probably less than a Brookville. I would prefer the buyer to come see the car and its solidly built quality. I have it in an enclosed 16 ft trailer that the buyer can purchase if he wants.
I am semi retired and have 2 32 roadsters and a 31. I am trying to build my other one the way I remember wanting one as a kid, channeled with a tripowered flathead and outside headers etc.so this one has to go. Not interested in trades especially trucks and motorcycles!
Call or email me with your questions as I am sure I left out some information. I have many more pics I can email including the parts, hood, gas tank etc. The car is located on Long Island NY but originally from Oklahoma.
