Does anybody know a source for the authentic fibre webbing for the radiator shell and firewall sides for the 32 Ford? It doesn't seem to have been available for many years.
What I want is 5/8" wide by 3/8 thick, olive (army) green in color, quite hard. The reproduction stuff that Bob Drake and other suppliers currently sell has a dark brown cover, with a soft white ropelike material in the center. It is round and has the wrong shape that affects hood alignment.
Maybe someone out there has a NOS supply of the right stuff? If so. please get in touch at Charles0644@aol.com. Thanks all.
