I am helping my good friend sell this winterfront. He has never had a need for it and decided to let it go to someone who will use it. It has hung on his garage wall since the 60's. This is an original Pines winter front grill. It is complete, featuring the crank hole cover, the shutter linkage and mechanism, even some of the original cable. It does not open, although the bars do move a little when the cable it pulled. I think a good cleaning and lubing would get it working. We simply took it off the wall and took pictures. No cleaning of any sort.
It is very strait. No bends, kinks, twist or rot. The bars are all perfectly strait. The ONLY damage we can see is where to headlight bar has rubbed on the center bar. Otherwise, the outer trim is damage free. Restore it or simply bolt this in for ultimate patina. This is the real deal.
I have seen these sell as high as 10,000.00. It's really hard to put a price on something like this. It is very sought after and not cheap when you find one (if you can find one). But it's things like this that make or break a car. To a lot of guys one of the ultimate deuce parts.
Asking 6500.00. No trades, no BS. We can ship if you need but the company and how it is packaged will be up to the buyer. This isn't something you just toss in a box and dump it off at the post office. Marcy will also be up here in a week or so, she may be able to haul it.
