1932 Ford Options

I just purchased a 1932 ford phaeton and need to get it inspected in order to register it(I’m in BC, Canada). My question is: did 1932 ford phaetons come standard with windshield wipers, side view mirrors and licence plate lights? Thanks

Wipers - driver side, center rear view mirror mounted to top of the windshield, license plate light was part of the driver side taillight assembly

Actually, all the guy wants to do at the present time is to get the car registered. We have no idea what he intends to do with it. All of these niceties can come later.

Thanks for all the responses. I’m not new to Deuces. Currently I own 3, none original. I’m trying to get a phaeton through an inspection so just need to know if a wiper was standard or not. If not, I’m good, if it was, then I need to install one, which I’d rather not do. But it is what it is. In BC, when you import a car, it needs an inspection before you can register it. Thanks.

The real problem isn't what the folks here or the O/P know or don't know, but what the person or entity doing the inspection knows.

Uncle Buck is correct . . . anything beyond what he mentioned was an "option" that wasn't originally on the car from Ford.

How will the BC car inspector know what a '32 Ford was equipped with from the factory? Seems like it would be easy to tell them about anything. Just curious.

When you go for the inspection take the original drivers handbook with you to prove to the inspector what was fitted to an original car. Every new ford had a drivers handbook. Regards, Kevin.
