!932 clutch release cross shaft arm for a 4 cyl car or pickup. Will interfere with v-8 motor steady rods. Perfect condition and believed to be NOS. Has the Ford part number B7511 cast into it. $90.

1933 window regulators. Original matched pair (R & L). Very nice condition, operate smoothly and have been cleaned and repainted. These came out of the rear side windows of a tudor so saw little use. Used on many closed cars front doors in 1933. Also used on rear/side windows of 1933 tudor sedans. Ford part numbers 40-194200-A and 40-194201-A. $100 pr.

Parts plus shipping.

What is the difference in the arm used for a V8 to clear the chatter rods, and what is the part casting # ? Thanks in advance for the info.

Most of the arms do not have forged-in part numbers. The photo below on the left shows the other two '32 arms, 18-7511 and BB-7511 (left to right). The photo on the right shows the B-7511 arm on a very early '32 V-8 transmission/engine. The B-7511 arm was used on both early fours and V-8s until the V-8 steady rods were moved inward. At that point, the B-7511 arm became obsolete and the 18-7511 arm was used subsequently on both fours and V-8s.

Judging from the photos, those window regulators are '33s (only). Those for '32s have raised crimped-on nuts about 3/8" high for the six attachment holes.

Note sure what you mean. The 32 and 33s use the same part number as far as I have found. The 6 imbedded nut plates are raised above the mounting plate surface about 3/8 inch and that shows in the pictures. May be a different manufacturer as I have seen at least 3 variations and some are caged nuts and some are swagged nut plates like these. Ford used different suppliers at different assembly plants but were built to the same basic specs. Got a picture of what you mean for the 32s?

Sale pending on the clutch arm. Still have these really nice regulators.

According to Ford's body parts catalogue for '33 models, the coupe/sedan front door window regulators carry the part number of 40-702700-A and 40-702701-A and the similar, but not the same '32 type carried the part numbers B-194200 and B-194201. If the parts were carried over to the '33 model year, the part numbers would not have been changed. The '33 design fits closer to the door inner panel than does the '32 design.

I agree that Ford used multiple sources for many of the parts purchased from outside suppliers, but in all cases those suppliers had to meet Ford's design intent. Variations in manufacturing processes were allowed, such as the type of nuts attached to the regulator panels, but dimensionally they all had to end up the same in terms of the spacing between the regulator and the door inner panel when installed.

I looked at your photos again and the regulator shown is exactly the same as several '33 regulators that I have. All of those '33 regulators only have clinch ("D") nuts which are recessed on the gear side and do not rise above the outer edges of the regulator panel on the handle side.

The photo below is of a B-194200 '32 regulator.

Here's how I turn the repos into 32's. I spot little barrels onto each hole to replicate the 32 style regulator. I also bulletproof the cranking gear, for the repo has only three rivits attaching it, and they are placed on only one half side of the circle. a couple spot welds assure that the tin cup will not pull away from the body of the regulator. I also lub them over and over as I run the gears up and down useing a three eights impact on a slow speed setting with the regulator mounted in a vise.

The photos and part numbers help me understand that there ARE 3 different regulators for the closed cars for the 3 years. Had never run across a 1932 before. Thanks
