That is true, but according to my LeBaron Bonney cataloge did some 1933-34 3-Window Coupes have leather door pulls.
I have a 1932 Coupe so i am more interested in the difference between the 3-Window leather pulls and the 1934-35 door pulls. I believe there is a little difference in the shape of the hardware that attach the pulls.
Here's a photo of an original '32 deluxe coupe door pull. The ends are unique to the '32 door pull (but were also used on '32 deluxe closed car assist straps and on the robe cord on the back of a deluxe Fordor front seat and some Model A applications).
Some 33's had them and they are supposed to be in the deluxe cars but this definitely is not consistent as I have 2 deluxe 33's with the metal pulls . Early 34's also had them until the inside door handle was moved to the center of the door . The 34 stuff is different than the 33 stuff . In both cases not just 3W coupes and not the same as 32 .
With respect, there's no difference between the Model A robe strap ends such as those shown in your photo and those used on '32 coupe door pull straps.
Please don't misunderstand, I agree the Model A robe strap ends and the 32 Deluxe Coupe door pull strap ends appear to be identical in size shape and function, however, and I could be wrong, the 32 examples that I have appear to be stainless while the A versions appear to be plated steel.
OK, I can go with that, all the 32 ends that I have are flawless, corresion free leading me to believe that they are SS. Have to give them another look.
