1932-1934 running boards

I have heard that 1932 & 1933/34 running boards are no longer being reproduced and not likely to be again.
Any truth in this rumor?

The repro boards are no longer available. My '34 boards were in pretty rough shape so I got all the old rubber off and took them to the body shop for repair. They did a nice job fixing dents and rust etc. I bought new rubber covers from C.W. Moss and installed them with the contact cement they provided. It was a bit nerve wracking because I was afraid I'd make a mistake installing them, (contact cement is very unforgiving). Anyway, it turned out well and I'm very pleased with the outcome. If you go this route just take your time and follow the directions. You'll be happy with them.

1933-34 Passenger steel boards with rubber covers are not available, last made by Drake ~5 years ago. Smooth fiberglass boards are still made.



1932 steel boards with rubber covers are shown by Drake as available, we sell Vintique's and have a pair in stock. Uncovered and smooth (not to be used with cover) boards are also available from a couple of suppliers.


1933-34 Pickup steel boards are available with diamond tread or smooth.
 
Some small independent dealers have a few Drakes left. Expensive Now. Try Wagers Ford Parts in Salem, Or. Newc
