1931 Rumble Seat Liner

I have a 1931 Model A with a rumble seat. The inside liner that covers the front seatback is missing. What's supposed to go there? Carpet, or the same material as the side liners?

Thanks. I was thinking of using a piece of masonite covered with vinyl. I don't have any near-term plans to make this a show car, but I want to improve the appearance where I can.

In the winter, on Minerva, my '30 Coupe, I'd staple a blanket to the top rear of the seat back & tuck the excess alongside the seat back & it kept the COLD air from coming in from the trunk.
That, along with using the half round, self adhesive, weatherstripping around the doors, made it SO much WARMER!! Bill W.

This is from my kit that I bought from Lee Chatterton in Hot Springs.

I can sell you mine for a song. It's in perfect condition, but I'm about to change my interior to black full-grain leather (for an all black Roadster), so all the brown stuff has to go anyway.
