Decided to sell my 31 AV8 traditional hotrod to finance a new project. This build was based on Vern Tardel's book "Building a Traditional Ford AV8" and was completed about 5 years ago. It is dependable and fun to drive.
Body - original late 31 indented cab, deluxe windshield, wide bed with a 37 Ford V8 tailgate, oak & stainless bed. Old hotrod louvered hood. repro 32 grill.
Frame- original Model A with a 32 K member and pedals
Engine/drivetrain- wartime 24 stud, bore to 3 5/16, 3 3/4 crank, 3/4 race cam, johnson lifters, chevy SS valves, malory electronic ignition, full flow oil filter, Edlebrock heads, Walker Radiator, PowerGen alternator, 36 ford trans, Halibrand V8 rear, 40 Lincoln Zephyr brakes, old dropped axle
Steering- Ford F-1 with SS column and Lime Works leather wheel
This RPU will be for sale at the Lone Star Roundup in Austin next weekend
