1931 Model A Fuel Question

The lower octane gas is what you should be using. The octane number tells you the resistance to knocking / pre-ignition. The high octane stuff is made for the high compression engines. Running high octane stuff in an A is just like throwing nickles out the window.

Perhaps the wiring is still wet. Also the muffler might be clogged with stuff from Sandy.

All replaced, new total harness and every electric part replaced. New exhaust.
Every moving part replaced too. Bearings, brakes, lines, shoes, starter, generator, etc. all new. Just ordered a complete new interior.
POR-15 & Eastwood's rust encapsulator with a black top coat saved my under body, under fenders and inner door and inner fender panels, from years of treating.
