I am helping my Brother sell his car. His name is Corey and his number is 509-954-4505. If you have any questions on it, call him or you can PM me
My Brother bought this lil roadster off the Hamb a couple years ago. It had the box in the back but was otherwise stock. The box was installed during WWII for gas rations. It ran and drove, but needed a lot of help. I gave him the stock engine and transmission out of my old coupe. He installed the engine and it runs very well. He dropped an axle for the front, reversed the front spring, and put a T spring in the back. At that time he also converted the car to hydraulic brakes. It has new 5.50 16 front and 7.50 16 rear Firestones on it with 16 Ford wheels. Caps are original 1941 Fords. He made a jig and dropped the headlight bar. Headlights are very nice BLC's. He swapped the windshield stantions around side to side so they will lean back. It is a lot like my old coupe, but in roadster form. He has been driving it around for close to a year. The ****** makes a little noise, but shifts fine and a nice one (old one out of my coupe) is included. Overall a nice little roadster. It needs some tinkering, both latches have been repaired in the doors and it has some dents/dings, but a strait, rust free car. Was painted WAY BACK when. probably 40's or 50's I would imagine. Seat is also very old and in good condition. All gauges work except speedo (not hooked up).
Heres the kicker- he has collected all of the parts to make the car back into a roadster, getting rid of the bed if you wish. He has a set of quarter panel chunks for the tops, upper panel, lower panel, deck lid and rain gutter. With a little work you can have a very nice little Model A roadster, or leave it has is! He is asking 12,000 OBO for the car and all parts to replace the box and make it back into a regular roadster. He has a clear WA title in his name.
