some restoration pictures. Body was dipped in picture. I worked on the frame with body on top of wooden horse's. Crank on floor in picture as i put the engine together too. Its a ***** working in a one car gargage.. Henry took a ride home with me with sunglasse's on. Orginial deluxe roadster in lower corner.There were 3 like that in our club with a 1930 Cabriolet. 2 roadsters and the cabriolet are still in area. The one pictured is down south .:)

WOW;

LOOKS GREAT.

I really like a Standard Roadster. Most are restored as Deluxe Roadsters and it is good to see a Standard. I am sure by far, originally, most of the 30-31 Roadsters were sold as Standards.

They sure are easier to get into and out of with the top up.

Chris.

Beautiful job on a beautiful car. I agree that the standard roadsters are good looking cars. I'd like to own one.

That was one of my favorite restored Model A's, you really had to see it to understand how it just jumped out of a lineup of Deluxe Roadsters. Not that there is anything wrong with the 180-A.

It appears that the body paint combo and pin stripe are different between the deluxe and standard and also between '30 to '31.. I gotta figure out the difference.. I too think I prefer the standard and would like to convert some day..
