I was wondering if it is possible to replace the running boards only on a 1930 Model A tudor sedan, without replacing the splash aprons. I saw some in catalog that the running boards and splash aprons are one piece for 1930 ? thanks Model A Jay

There are two designs early and late. The early 30 aprons are bolted to the runningboards and the late are on piece. Look and see what you have.

Do you need to replace the whole board or just the rubber mat on top? If the whole board, and you have an original one piece design, it's a fairly big job to take off. Probably why ford went back to the two piece in 31. If you need to replace just the mat, that can be done on the car. Just need to get all the zinc trim off the edges.

The Judging Standards show the 1930 one piece apron and running board was used from the 1930 introduction thru September 1930.
