1930 Radial tires v/s Std

any one have experience w/ RADIAL TIRES and running w/out tubes?
ready to make decision about tires..

several ways to go standard $99 each with tubes..by various Mfgs...and mid range std type ....or radials w/ and w/ out tubes.... any member's have experience w/' new tires and where to get them?

I have looked @ Mac's,Snyders....and our local Vintage Ford here in Sacramento area..some look like there MFG dates are a bit old..your thought's ?

A fellow in our club runs standard 19 inch tires with no tubes and has been for years with no problems even on long trips (2000 mi.). the only problem was in fitting the valve stems.
