car sat for six months without use--now no spark--what might be the problem. All new parts. Stumped. Any help appreciated. Thanks

You need a voltmeter or test light. With switch turned on, you should have 6 volts of power at the points on the moveable arm in the OPEN position. If not, then work your way back through the system until you find the problem. If you DO have spark at the points, then try rubbing the contacts with a dollar bill. (Larger denominations work as well.) If still no spark, then replace points. Lets us know what you find. Good luck. If I'm not explaining this well, then someone else may be more clear.
