can anyone tell me if all the trucks grills and headlight were black or if some were left stainless mine are not black?

My '31 AA 280A (which was considered a "Deluxe Commercial" vehicle) had a stainless radiator shell and headlight buckets from the factory.
Over the years many of the black shells and headlight buckets, especially on the small pickups, have been replaced by stainless shells from cars. Sometimes just to spiffy them up, sometimes to replace rusted out parts.
