1930 Cabriolet door pulls

Here is a picture of the door pulls from the garnish above the door panels. Same as Fordor.

The top 2 are chromed pot metal and have some uneven areas and gouges that look like they were made that way. They have a circle on the bottom with number 12 under a C with little circles around it.

My question is, were the 2 above original and were there flaws in them from the factory? Or are these maybe 1960 aftermarket copies of originals?

I have shown a new aftermarket reproduction on the bottom. I believe these are supposed to be Butler Nickel finish.

Well I wasn’t around to see one roll off the assembly line…..
But a lot of nice originals I’ve seen do not have such flaws.
Poor replating of pot metal can result in what you are seeing
