Snyder’s Antique Auto lists a DVD for this.
Part #. A-18801-L. $24.95
It was produced by the Diablo A’s club.
I have not seen it.
Snyder’s Top replacement kits for the AA also come with instructions, that you can view on their website.
Marco when he was alive made a series of pictures outlining the removal and replacement of the 82A top. These have been referenced elsewhere on this board (in case this gets lost from here) The link to see these below.
I didn't have Marco's pictures at the time but it was interesting to use large "Ideal Clips" in large numbers along with gallon plastic bottles to do the "stretching" before nailing. Start with the bottles nearly empty and then gradually start filling incrementally until the first bottle "slips."
Cab numbers were mentioned in post #5. The 1928 through early 1930 used the 82A cab on model A and AA commercial applications. The 82B cab came in two configurations. The early 1930 to late 1931 was the 82B of the original design. The late 82B design starting in August of 1931 was the all steel version.
I hate to assume since 1930 was a change over year with early and late versions. A and AA commercials & trucks used the same basic cabs in the same time frames. The later 1930 cab is the most common in that time frame and it does have some similarity in general with the later coupe tops but they are not the same.
