FYI... it appears in the provided photo that the big triangular shaped holes in the pictured firewall are not original; this firewall has been cut and modified for some other use. It is in no way original for a '30-31 Model A.
 
FYI...Thats PAINT on the triangles.Better have your eyes checked or at LEAST learn to ask questions BEFORE you make a statement.

sorry...but are the apparent 4 or 5 holes in the passenger side triangle area also paint spots? The photo isn't all that clear. Just asking, no offense.
 
You can actually click on those small square images and that makes them bigger d. The you can see the image better.
