Can anyone tell me how many 2 door Phaetons were made in 1930 and 1931? I have always loved the only two I have ever seen. One was on 77 Sunset Strip on TV and the other in an old movie. Never seen one in person. I have seen quite a few 4 doors but they just don't look as sporty to me.

Funny, about two years ago saw 3-4 for sale on the bay within a 2 month period. Heck, 2 were on at once. Couldn't figure out where they were all coming from and sold very reasonably.
Now am wishing I had bid!

I know of 5 here in N.Y. near me and 9 in Conn. 1 is forsale here asking $45,000.00 but worth about $32,000 to $35,000.00 and 3 forsale in Conn. 1# at $110,000.00 ,2 #at $65,000.00 and 3# $15,000.00 unrestored which i'll be looking at this week. But pretty much sold [maybe??]...When they come up forsale they go really fast.

Interesting about the quoted number of around 200 Deluxe Phaetons in US.
Here in NZ, we only got 3 [!] new 2 dr Phaetons via Canada but I have seen 2 in recent years because they were imported from Argentina [RHD]. I would think many 180A's were originally exported to Sth America [ a large export market for Ford USA ,but not Ford Canada], accounting for the low number in US.

Most of the 180A 's i have seen and come across from South America are now 1 piece... front fenders welded to running boards welded to rear fender.I bought 1 years ago and that's how is was. Not to many can be used from down south A. You would need a complete running undercarriage when they are brought up.I am going by how many 180A club members are listed and add a few i know about that does not belong to the club. Its hard to count because 1 was sold 3 times and the old owners are still listed and the new owners are listed as buying the 180A from the old owner. So in the club there's about 150.Give or take a few. I 'll call Ross [president] and ask him,,,he might have a better idea.
