1929 Station Wagon Fuel Tank

This is my first post on this message board:

So, I have a leaky fuel tank on my 1929 wagon in three spots :( . The car is close to original since my grandfather restored it in the late 70's. There are some reproduction parts on the restoration and some original. The car is starting to show its age and all the problems are coming out because the car was never driven and now I drive it more than he did.

How do I know or how can identify what was the right tank that was standard on the station wagon during production. What are some things that I would need to look for? Were all the tanks the same on all models? Any help would be great.

Welcome to the Barn.

You mentioned fuel tank leaks. What kind of leaks and where? If they are just small ones you may be able to just put a coating inside the tank and stop them. Depends on how bad they are and where they are.
