I have a 1929 roadster pickup with no top. I know originally the tops were not foldable, but I would like the convenience of a foldable top. Lebaron Bonney makes the top material. They mentioned a company in Illinois called Superior Car Parts that makes the foldable top Irons. However, they do not answer their phone or return emails. Does anyone know of another source for foldable top irons and bows for a roadster pickup foldable top? I also checked with Snyders. They only sell the non foldable top irons.

Hi Paul,
Do you have wooden railings on your loadbin as in my avatar?
If so, it will restrict the soft top frame from folding down.

Here is an actual Roadster Pickup:). The top folds down.

Paul, Beware.

Lebaron Bonney was still giving them as a source last year (not true). Superior is gone from the scene.

I talked to two Brookville reps at Hershey in 2017 and got very conflicting info on whether it folded, or if it fit standard Rdstr PU. I called them and got a third (?) opinion.

If you find folding top irons, does a standard top fit? Who knows? I gave up, got a regular set of irons.

My top with roll up back, is being shipped from Classtique Upholstery this week. Highly recommend Mike.
