1929 Model A Coupe Glass patterns

Does anyone have glass patterns for the door, quarter windows and back glass they would be willing to share? I have the windshield, but not the remainder.

Any help would be appreciated. My local glass shop doesn't have the patterns but will make them for me if I get them.

Thanks, Mark.

I made patterns like columbiA mentioned above for my 28 special coupe. I then took them to a local glass outfit and they cut and polished the glass from the patterns. They fit perfect. I had the glass place make the quarterwindows from 3/16" thick glass as that was what Ford originally used (measured from the plate glass that was in the car). Even then the inside trim still stuck out more than I had hoped.

Thanks to all who responded. The Ford factory diagram becomes too distorted if I enlarge it. What I could really use, and the simplest method, is just a paper tracing of the door, quarter, and back window, which my glass shop friends could use as a template.

I would be happy to pay for postage, materials, etc.

Thanks, Mark.

I have a 2008 Bratton's catalog that shows the dimensions on page 176 and 177. not sure if there later catalogs do but that may be a place to start. They don't show the dimensions on their online version. Good luck!

I just looked at the Bratton's catalog online, but only the door glass dimensions are listed. A paper template would be the easiest route to go.

I have friends who own a glass shop here who will make the glass. There are glass shops all over the Detroit area who can make them. I just want a paper or cardboard tracing to make them myself.

Thanks, Mark.

I drew out the patterns on "craft" paper from the specs in the service bulletins, cut them out and gave them to my glass guy. Worked out very well......Pete.
