1929 fuel tank

I have a question for all you more wiser A fans. I need a fuel tank for my '29 station wagon. Model A parts are not that plentiful in the area were I live so when stuff comes up for sale you have to jump on it. I found a post on Craigslist for a tank removed from a '29 roadster. Do you think this would fit my model? I'm not sure if the cowel sections are the same for a wagon and a roadster. Thanks for any help.

It should fit a 29 stationwagon with no problems.

Here in the Northwest, good, clean Model A fuel tanks go for $40 to $100.

Thanks Rusty. Let’s see if I can make it before it gets sold. Steamer he’s asking $150. Let’s see what happens. I have to go to Denver in April so I plan on making the pilgrimage to Bert’s.

Take a bore scope with you.

Even if the tank looks OK thru filler neck, they can rust badly up top around that filler neck from inside from condensation.
