This is a neat old Hot rod built in the 50's.... a little crude, but super cool. Body is good, have most everything to complete..... I was going to get it on the road, and then sell it, but just don't have any time.
The body is pretty good, its not really rusty, but has some dents...... the drivers door is a little rough, pitted and dented..... repairable for sure...... there is no decklid, just a peice of alluminum screwed on. Under the tonneau cover the windshield are has been filled and the transition to the doors is unfinished.
The frame is an origional model a frame that was stretched and has a 36 ford x member grafted in it. its pretty cool.... it has a small kick up in the back and is a little crude in spots, but overal usable and neat...
It has an earlier flatead in it that is just a core, with an edelbrock 2x2 and I have a running 53 truck engine for it. the trand is a 30's top loader and the rear is a model a I think. It has a really cool radiator and a chopped 32 grill/shell.
King bee headlights. 50 pontiac tail lights..... the front end seems to be a 33 or 34 axle, model a wishbones, 40 brakes front and rear...... the steering is an old unknown box, but I think I have an f 1 box I could throw in......
I also have some nice seats and a brookville 32 style dash for it... and some pedals.
Thanks, Bob
Anyway it is pretty cool. It is pretty complete and wouldn't take too much to get on the road, Or it has a ton of potential as a project....
