For sale:
1929 Model A Ford Briggs body pickup. The cab and bed were built by the Briggs Body company and installed on a Model A chassis in 1929. The truck originally came with a top that extended over the bed and ended at the tailgate.
It comes with a scrapbook containing receipts and pictures of the truck, dating back to the 1930s. The scrapbook contains pictures of the truck with previous owners. It also comes with a 2-page article about the truck, published in the Sep/Oct 2022 issue of the Model A Ford Club's 'Restorer' magazine.
The truck was purchased new by George Sweet and used as an advertising vehicle in the 30s and 40s. The original motor has been overhauled.
It has a rebuilt transmission, a new clutch and pressure plate, and a rebuilt carburetor and distributor.
Seat belts have been installed. The lights and horn work.
The truck is fun to drive around town.
