1928 Tudor on EBAY

That is very nice, and if it were mine, I would leave it unrestored, and just make it run and stop well. How often do you find original paint?

As Mike says, it looks pretty solid.. It is missing a little more than he says but items can be found. Also some changes have been made.. A lot depends on what you are going to do with it ??..

No opinion on price, but I AGREE about the condition. Just think how great it would be to drive through the drive-in window of your bank, with 1929 tunes blaring from the MP3 player.

The nice thing about this car is it looks like it hasn't been abused like many model A, including the ones I bought - a few mods, but nothing bad. The price is in the ballpark, but maybe a tad to high in my opinion. I would think $5000 would be a little closer to what it is worth as the tudor body style is the most common A. Like mentioned above, it will take some $$$ to get it in drivable condition. It does look like a nice fairly clean body, however.

Remember that price varies by location. The closer one gets to a coast line, the higher the price. Mid-west is the place for bargains if the shipping cost does not put one off.

I too have been watching this Tudor, not to buy but to see how far it would go. I think it has a lot going for it. It may be slightly beyond keeping it as an original unrestored but a great candidate for a restoration. I wish I had started with something this nice!

Someone, with a 28-29 Tudor and keeping records, needs to make a good picture of the striping behind the rear window which appears to be original. This seems to come up all the time when someone is wanting to correctly stripe his 28-29 Tudor.

That's true Ron, I did an original 29 tudor over and that's exactly what that twin vertical stripe looked like. Funny how you notice so many that are striped wrong after you have an original. That one looks quite solid, question is how is it mechanically?

I agree with Gary, it's a very good car to restore. You could also keep it as is, but I'm on the fence on this with the paint and upholstery this far gone. Either way it looks like a good solid car that hasn't been messed up. Strange that there is no mention of the drive train condition.

nothing better than an unmolested car. what you see is what you get
have seen to many that were botched, butchered and poor workmanship.

This car looks much the same condition as mine when I got it almost 44 years ago ; here [NZ] it was considered a ''good original Model A'' & it cleaned up well & was quickly back on the road. You are very lucky to still find Fords like this in the US.

I would be concerned about getting a title. I live in Ohio and I know it can be very time consuming and difficult to get an Ohio title if the vehicle doesn't have one. I'm not sure what it would take in Fla. with just an out of state bill of sale But I bet it would be tough.

Personally, I would not spend any money with as many unknowns about it's condition. I have said before that pictures are worth a thousand words. He does have plenty of pictures, just not of the areas I'd like to see. You could offer to pay someone who lives in the area to go and inspect the car for you before you spend the money. Someone who is not emotionally involved with the deal can see things that you might overlook. A little now could save you alot later.

yeah, go for it...like been said, make it run and stop well....it is only original once.... it will get more attention than a $15,000-20,000 restoration......... wouldn't have to worry about someone scratching the paint either.....good luck....
