This is 5 brush Power House generator from early 1928 up to Oct. of '28. This generator is good overall condition and is ready to bolt on ( may need a new cutout?). The brush plate looks to be in excellent condition as do the brushes and commutator. There doesn't appear to be any dents in the rear cover. These don't come around very often, so don't wait to long to make a decision. You never know when yours will go out and you'll need as spare? Shipping cost will be the least expensive way unless you have a different way you would like it shipped and the buyer will be responsible for that expense. This is usually around $17.00. I will not ship it in a Medium USPS flat rate box as the rear cover and pulley have no protection.

You CAN ship a Powerhouse, in a Medium Flat Rate Box, for $10.50, by taking the cover off the generator and placing it along the side. This will give you more room for packing. It you pack the generator tight, you will have no problem.
I know, because I just, recently shipped one.

Mike, thanks for the comment. I would prefer not to ship it without the rear cover only for the fact that the most fragile part of the power house is the brush ring. If it gets damaged it is almost impossible to fix. For the amount of money these cost a couple of extra bucks seems like cheap insurance not to have it arrive, broken.
Thanks again for your input.
