Hey guys.. Surfing in the web, looking for information I read a post in the mtfca forum, and in there, a guy said "the first model A pick up came with model T pick up bed... a friend of mine had a model A with a model T bed".
It is possible that´s firsts pick ups came with a model t beds?
Thanks Leandro

Supposidly, the Model A p'up box before the '31 'widebed' one, was the same as used on the last model T roadster p'ups. This may mean 'the same but different' as it usually turns out.
Interestingly, Ford Australia at one point used Model T rear fenders on their version of the early A open cab p'up. These did not use a Nth American style p'up box like we are familiar with.
Leandro, there is an ex Argentinian 400A that will be here at MAFCA Meet this weekend. It now lives in US, but shipped over for a run down from Auckland to CHCH.

I really doubt you could bolt A fenders on a 26-27 T bed without them looking like a Rat Rod build. If you had a T and A bed sitting side by side Stevie Wonder could point out the differances.

I think the model A pick up bed is more big than the model T first, the section to atached the fenders it´s not the same and there are diferents model T beds.
May be the model T bed width is minor than the model A bed because the T chasis is minor in widht.
The A pick up bed has a folded sheet through which the timber that holds the bed frame, Model T Ford bed was installed over the back of the runabout, where would be the turttle deck or the pick up bed.

Return to the north of the A-400 was bought trough arcar.com website

The two firsts pick they are a model A pick up beds, the other are model T beds ( note the hole for the battery in front) and the last pic a T body were behind was atached the turtled deck or the T bed.
