Hello all, I have been searching for some time now and cannot seem to find much information on what I'm looking for. I have a 1928 ford model a doodlebug and recently picked up some model t wood spoke wheels for cheap. I would love to put these on my bug since they look great. I'm wondering what I need to do to adapt my model a front axle to the model t wheel. Thanks

There are 5 bolts that go through the spokes on a Model T wheel. But the spacing is not the same as the 5 studs that protrude from the hub on a Model A. You would have to remove the 5 studs from the hub on the Model A hub and then drill new holes and use longer bolts that go through the spokes of the Model T hub.

I don't think you could make an adapter that would work.

The ID of the Model T hubs is smaller than the ID of the Model A hubs. A Model T front axle might work, seeing that it's only a doodlebug.
