Does anyone out there have photo's they can share of a 28-29 Closed Cab pickup going together. Also reference materials they used which they found most valuable ? thanks Tom

Tom,

Marco had done some work on this pertaing to the top. Not sure just how to get to it but maybe he can come on and tell you.

Also Neil Wilson who heads up the Double AA Truck Club (see STICKY above for address) has done some great work on the 28-29-early 30 Closed Cab. Might want to contact him also.

BUT that would be great to see a good reatoration article on this cab as a whole.

There are no good books available for this body style. At one time someone posted that they were working on a book, but haven't seen it available yet.

I'd be glad to help if you have specific questions as you progress. There are quite a few folks on fordbarn who are working on the same project, photos are always helpful too.
 
I'm quite sure that those are Marco"s pictures. I used them for reference when I restored my '28CCPU. Don/WI
 
Just finished up a 29 cab and will be starting another soon. contact me direct and I can send you some pic's. I have done several of these. They are one of the easier body's to do
