Looking for a pair of rear braces for a sedan '28 or '29. Don't need to be pretty, just straight. Let me know what you have.

I have a set of rear bumper brackets , nice cleaned and painted. But I don't know what they are from. I bought them for my tudor - but they don't fit. Tell me the distance from the bolt hole that goes through the rear frame crossmember to the bracket that bolts to the rear of the body. If yours is a tudor it won't work. I think I might have another set to compare also.

The distance to the rear standoff to the bracket on top of the frame is about 9in. and about 8 1/2 in from the bracket on top of the frame to the mounting hole in the front. The standoff itself is about 3 in. tall. I'm guessing I need the same one you are looking for? Thanks for the reply! Tom

Tom-These might be 30/31. Some of the measurements are similar though. Bruce

It's close, but the second measurement is ~11 inches(instead of 9).

According to the catalog, Your brackets are either '28 to '31 Coupe or Roadster (5" bracket) or '30 to '31 Two door Sedan (4 1/2" bracket). Not sure if there are other variations? Thanks!

aicmax, thanks for the info. The car is up "for sale" right now on Greedy. If it doesn't sell, I'll be getting back with you. Thanks! Tom
