Just bought a Fordor originally from PA. Is there a site or locator using the VIN to find out the location it was purchased @ that time?

I did check MTFCA but no results, any input would be great. I have been resurrecting a 39 P/U the last five years and full of "VIM and VIGOR" to get this "T" driving and on the road again.
 
Unless it has a dealer tag installed, all the number will tell you is when it was made. There were no records kept by Ford after the early teens to tell where each car was shipped.
