Hey KK... I really enjoyed your website "Save the Beaters". My first car was a 1962 Impala SS 327 with a 4 speed, the I graduated to 455 Buick Gran Sports. Second car was a year old Stage 1 455 4 speed AC console delete car that I bought from my brother. He ordered it new, and sold it to me a year later. In the early 70s, I used to race the 455s at US30 in Dyer, Ind.
"SUNDAY ! SUNDAY! At beautiful US 30 drag strip; where the big ones Run, run, run..." Took home a bunch of $5.00 trophies...
Now Im old and slow in Two Rivers, Wi. with my 9th and probably last Model T Ford! Thanks for the mammaries! ws
