I am a Model A man and on the forum for Model A all the time. I just got a message from a friend who has a friend, etc that is trying to sell a Model T for an aging family member whose husband died recently. The car is stated as a 1924 Model T and is located in Mendham, NJ. Here is his description of the car.

I’ll tell you everything I know about it in a few sentences. They have owned it for 40 years. It was restored before he bought it by a local guy named BOB CACHIO, who is apparently still around (I am told). He never did much with it and has not driven it in years. The tires are flat and it is dirty, but not too rusty. It does not start. I do not know what it will need. He never told me anything about the car, so I regret that I do not know more. His wife does not want to invest in getting it repaired and wants to sell it “as is”. Anyone interested can inspect it at any convenient time. I will take close up photos of anything of interest upon request.

It is not stock. It was customized for and – I think – owned by Dorothy Schiff of the prominent local Schiff family.

You can PM me if anyone is interested in contacting this guy to get more info.

Actually I wouldn't correct it, because I wouldn't buy it. It isn't "restored". It's customized. I prefer a stock Model T that hasn't been subjected to "upgrades". I'm not against all changes. I'll use John Regan's pinion bearing, and bronze bushings instead of steel. Those don't alter the appearance or character of the car. But I draw the line at stuff like disturbutor ignition and that cheesy top. Different strokes for different folks. "Natural" spokes are a big fad these days, but I'll take my wheels black, the way God and Henry intended .

I like them all and I think its cute. It will make someone a good speedster that will keep
them out of the sun. There's a butt for every seat.....

Are you are looking for a value or offers? If you are looking for value come right out and ask or look on ebay in advance for similar cars and what they sold for. Once you or they get a price figured out then the owner or their agent should place an ad in the classifieds here and some of the other T sites.
Hopefully there is someone that knows what has been done as far as running gear besides the old "engine was over hauled".
Does the seller have a title that is clear or is everything in probate still or do they have all the proper paper work for a potential buyer to put it in their name?
Not looking for a 2ed car myself.
