1921 Ford Model TT

As Andy says, the NH is an easy rebuild. All the parts are available. Get the MTFCA carburetor book and have fun.

IT RUNS!!!! IT RUNS!!!!!

After getting the carb back from Andy, which is a work of art btw, I bolted it one and the dang thing fired right up. It chuggs really bad but it runs. I have to go back and read through the link provided in this thread on how to operate it. It seemed to get better as I pulled the timing arm down (advancing timing?) Throttle input? (right lever on wheel) didn't seem to do much in how it ran and I haven't messed with the dial adjustment on the carb yet.

I'm trying to upload a short video

After seeing the video I realized I did turn the carb adjuster. Dang I didn't even realize I did that in real time. I can say the intake was ice cold to the touch. It had condensation on it after running it just for these few short seconds.

Sounds very rich in the video. Turn the mixture adjuster clockwise (lean) slowly until it runs right. You will be able to tell when it is too lean because it will start to run worse. Obviously if you get the mixture that lean, back off the mixture toward rich (counterclockwise) again.

I would like to thank all of you for the help you offered with it. The truck has been sold and is going to Germany.

I bought her other car, one I've been wanting for about 10 years now. I'll be keeping this one for a long time.

1926 Chevy.
