1919 truck taillight.

The TT was chassis only from the factory. So the lamp equipment was bolted on the rear frame cross member for shipping to the dealer. Once a truck body, bed, supplied by outside builders was installed, the kerosene oil side lamps were placed on the cowl, and the oil tail lamp would be mounted to the rear of the body on the driver's side.

That tail lamp has large red lens out rear, and small clear lens on the right to shine on the license tag.

To add, by late 1920 or '21 the TT could be optioned with starter / generator equipped with 6v storage battery, then no kerosene lamps supplied. The dealer apparently could provide the regular car style electric tail lamp p/n # 7669X to be installed.

I guess it depends upon where. I had an un-restored C-cab that had the Kerosene taillight mounted on the driver's side top of the back of the cab as well as one on the frame at the rear of the truck.
