1917 T Roadster value question

There may be a 1917 T Roadster available locally in the near future. Its a car I've known about for a good 50 years now. The owner used to stop over when we were kids and give us rides, just a typical old running T with a spraycan paintjob, all real T parts few if any reproduction bits. More sentimental value to me, I remember those rides around the block, and I could find room around here to hide it. What do you think the market value would be on a T like this. Sorry I can't get photos of it.

I'll take a stab at that: assume that the rest of the car is in the same shape as the paint job, could probably use a new top, upholstery still OK but a little ragged around the edges, but also assume that the engine is solid, (no smoke, knocks), and has a valid title: $6,500 to $7,300, give or take depending on how ragged some of the components are.

I'll go lower and say 5 to 6. It seems that the 2 seat guys want 4 seats so the 2 seater might bring less $. Don't let your sentimental feelings drive the price up as your description tells me work is needed.

Thanks, I would have a hard time saying the car is worth $5,000. on the open market, but would like to see it stay in town.
