My suggestion is going to be; post your question on the Model T Ford Club of America's forum. If you add photos there they need to be under 250KB in size.
If it's a wood coil box there are three company's that made them between 1909 and 1913; Kingston, Jacobson/Brandow and Heinze. You can also try a google search, type in "mtfca;then the type of box you have". Someone may have posted some information in the past that will cover your question.
All three may or may not follow the same wiring pattern. Solid copper wire, one lead to each magneto & battery terminals on back of box and one to the contact strip or springs in bottom of the box (power to coils from mag/bat). If you ask your question on the MTFCA site, you need to let them know which company made your box because each was a little different. Like the Heinze coils were made in pairs rather then all 4 the same. Then there is the fact you have to have coils made by which ever company made the box, they don't exchange between the 3.
The switch;magneto/off/battery allows you to choose between the power source. The plug key is is just a circuit breaker that when removed disables the system.
I have not worked on the early wood boxs only the later steel ones so only have a small basic what I have read pool of knowledge to pull from. There are guys on the MTFCA site that have a far greater amount of knowledge to help you.
Back to your first request for help, I would still suggest posting on the Model T Ford Club site your request.
