I worked for a fellow that had two 1908 Brush Runabouts. They were popular around my old home town due to the price being very reasonable. He dug one out of a dust drift along a pasture wind break and the dust kept the wood frame and axle in almost perfect condition. The other one, which was more of a parts car, came from behind my great Grandfathers barn. One of my great uncles evidently had tried to repair it in the teens or twenties but couldn't get parts so it set there for 20-years so so. They didn't have the power of the model T but they would run along pretty well for what they were. It was just as much fun to drive as a model T.

This video must have been made around 2002, because in 2023, Brian entered his 1911 Roadster for the MTFCI Stynoski Award and won the award. I was fortunate enough to judge the car for the Stynoski, and it is a beautiful car.

Read any of the books about the Abernathy Boys. They bought a Brush and drove it from NYC to Oklahoma. And a Brush was the third car to drive up Pikes Peak, it took 8 hours.
