19?? ford truck

Stewart, pretty sure that other cab is not a Ford, the reveal does not look right for any Ford I know.

The 38/39 pickup looks really solid and complete from what can be seen from the photo's. It looks more like a fixer upper project to me, rather than a wreck to be parted out.

I'd love to get my hands on it. It looks much better than the 41 I'm currently trying to get back from the dead. Keep posting the pics - they're fascinating.

Mart.

you cant realy tell in pic but im pretty sure all interior is good except seats next time i put picture of all the rattlers i killed up here tryen to get truck out

Stewart, by the looks of the dash and the location of the windshield crank its a 39. Now I have 4 weeks of vacation time, I think I need to fly out and give you a hand, or drive out with my trailer. How's the food on the ranch? I'd like to see pics of those rattlers too! Be careful, keep us posted, this is an interesting thread.
Good work so far.

Can someone identify the other non-ford cab?

Hurry up and set it free! looks like a great restoration project for someone. I've got a Husky that will make quick work of that brush.

I think your truck most likely had a flathead V8 in it. Was that 4 cylinder in the 39 pickup? Looks like a B or C, 4 cylinder.

Brakes on 38 mechanical on the 39 hydrolic. looks prety good keep us posted

While I'm drooling over the '39, think I've got a line on the other cab you found. There's a thread over on the HAMB about a '36 GMC (beautiful thing -- too bad it's not a Ford!). Here's some pics to compare, whaddya think?
