188 - what a journey

Hello folks
As promised last year, I took Mum for a ride on her 100th birthday today in a car that is 88 years old. She is still feeling fine, enjoying the ride around our hometown to visit all the places and streets that she remembers. Brought a tear to my eye when she said this might be the last ride but I doubt it - she is made from very strong stuff. Anyway, here are some pics.
A big CHEERS to the 100 and the 88!

I see them fine.

Congratulations to both of you. When I go for a ride, I can only get up to 150.

..... four pictures showed up here??????
Great that you were able to do this. Brings strong emotions to me, when I am able to do similar stuff. Did the same thing couple years ago with mother-in-law. She was very dear to me, and now she is gone. A very touching and emotional memory.

Way to go Vincent and Mom! It is awesome that you guys go for rides and enjoy both "ole' girls" - the car and Mom. Give her our very best!

Great pics Vincent, congrats to you and your Mum. I was surprised to see the car is RHD.

Happy Birthday to your mom :)
Looks like your mom and your '34 have both had good care over the years.

It's a 1934 chick magnet.
Just kidding Vincent. Thanks for the heartwarming story.

We accuse my friend's '36 of being a chick magnet :D

Happy Birthday to your mom and enjoy each day that she is still with you. I suspect she will be around for her next birthday.
