160B Slant Widow Visor Wood Location

Anyone with dimensions and locations (pictures always a plus) on the correct dimensions, mounting method for the visor wood block that the interior visor bracket mounts to? I have the original brackets, but all the original wood was missing. I have made all new wood bows and installed.

between the 1st and 2nd bows (at the front after the windshield header) and the block edge is about 10" in from the side roof opening at the 1st bow. the blocks are about 3" wide and probably could be a little wider based on your brackets to have a safe edge distance for the screws. hopefully some one else can confirm this as well as the mounting which I believe was with wood screws thru the bows. the brackets mount nearer the 2nd bow.

Excellent !! Blocks are made, ready to temporary fit. My thought is that the blocks should be 'level with the world' and NOT follow the curvature of the bow? Thoughts anyone? Also, when the visor bracket is screwed in place it draws the headliner up right in that spot.... correct?
