16" tires

I run 16s on my truck, but a 21" is in the well. My 6.00 x 16 spare is a bit wide for it to fit.

I'm running the Firestone Destination LE225 75R16 on my Fordor. Tubeless even... Love the tires, love the price, $140 apiece. blackwalls of course. Runs up to 72 MPH with the Overdrive and gets 24 MPG. No complaints here, no spare either!

Yes have 35 Ford wheels. (Didn't realize when first posted that you probably meant the question for the other Jim)
Some say that they are using the standard 19" or 21" wheel in the spare. Don't know how well that would work to run a 16" on one rear wheel and a standard 19" on the other rear.
Will most likely let the air out in the spare and carry a pump or a portable air source.
Doing some old school stuff with an exhaust header, Burns intake with a single Stromberg downdraft on a diamond B engine with Lion head. Also have the Mitchell Overdrive and 3.78 rear. Here are a couple of interim pictures.

I installed the new Bridgestones 195/85/19 tires and they will fit the sidemeount....a bit tight.. but work just fine...the 195 is just 5" wide... and grips awsome..
