16 Inch Wheels with 5 on 4 1/2 Bolt Pattern?

Bill, You may have to have them made. Would it be possible to get some 5 x 4 1/2 centers and weld them into 16 in. rims?
 
They are rare but they are out there. I once owned a '49 business coupe. It was all original and had 16" wheels on it. I bought it from the niece of the original owner. she got it from her uncle when he died and he bought it new while working for Ford as an engineer. Other than some rust issues it was pristine and I have regretted selling many, many times.

The stock tire/ wheel on '49 to '51 Fords was 600:16 5 on 4 1/2, and the option was 6:70 15. Shouldn't be that rare, considering the number built. ..B.
 
I just sold my 1950 coupe. I had aquired 4 of the wheels for it. They didn't go with the car. They are available. They have original paint and NO rust and are true. cell 816-377-8870 central Mo.
