mrtexas Well-known member Jan 30, 2012 #1 I've got some 16 inch Ford wheels, 5, 4 1/2, and 4 inches wide. What year did these come from?
A Andy Well-known member Jan 30, 2012 #2 I believe the 4" ones are 40-41 and the 4.5" ones ar 46-48. The 5" ones are optional for pick up's, Maybe also 46-48. I don't know.

Rem Member Jan 31, 2012 #5 I've got some 16" x 5" wheels dated '40 or '41. They are almost identical to '40 Ford centres, but the mounting face is set an 1/8" or so deeper: it has been suggested they may be Mercury?

toby Senior Member Jan 31, 2012 #7 16" X 4.5" wide came standard on 49-51 Deluxe cars. My 1950 Deluxe Business Coupe had the 16" when I got it back in 1978.
