Does anyone have or know where i can find some single pin contact magneto head light bulbs? I have a friend who had an accident and needs one...i hate to dissapoint him and not find one.the car is SO nice and deserves the "correct" bulb...

The typical magneto bulb is double contact, 8-9v, as the wiring is to each bulb and then ground. Lang's Antique Auto Parts has those bulbs, p/n6572.

Yep.but this car has the single contact, single wire set up.he was pulling the car after it died(for what reason it died i do not know) and it rolled into the tow vehicle.

I dont want to change it since it is VERY original.

Sounds like someone at sometime decided to get rid of the bulbs being wired in parallel and wire each bulb separate. If you are looking for a single contact larger bulb with the *** on it, that may take some searching. The double contact larger magneto bulbs are out there but good working ones are far in between. You might try posting want ad on:

The base is the easy part, it's the correct globe that is the hard part. The globe on the magneto bulb is much larger then even your standard head light bulb used in the later Model T and A.

talked it over and im gonna do two contact bulbs and sockets. He might need a bulb someday and it only makes sence.
