12volt or not?

It is the same truck. As I mentioned, I learned to drive on this truck. Once I retired in 2010, I began the restoration. There were many frustrating times. One of the worst was replacing the perch bolts. I worked on them about 4 days after PB Blaster and numerous tries to free them up. When I finally got them to move ever so slightly, I was able to finally get them loose. Numerous other frustrations, but finally was able to finish up the restoration. I can't name all the companies, individuals who had parts and finding parts on ranches. Hard to believe but with patience and persaverance, I was able to finish it up. Thanks for the comment.

WOW! A beautiful truck and great colour to paint it. I learnt to drive in one of those back in 1962. As for the 6 volt 12 volt question there is no question, just leave it 6 volt but make sure everything is correct and fit a 6 volt optima battery is the way to go. Regards, Kevin.

After I posted these pictures, wonder if I need to turn the front bumper around. The picture of the orignal green truck had the bumper different than what I did on my truck. If someone knows which is the correct way, please let me know. I appreciate the comments. Thanks to all.

KT,
Awesome job you did on the family truck. Someone will advise on the bumper. My best guess is that it was right on the old truck picture. Most auto companies put the most chrome areas "UP" to shine and or show better as you approached the vehicle. I read that somewhere.
Regards,
Chris
